Lunch Lady

Every Thursday I volunteer in Olivia's classroom for 40 minutes at the art center, and then for about 30 minutes in the cafeteria for lunch. Livvy LOVES when I'm there, and I enjoy knowing that I'm doing something that she appreciates so much. As a "lunch mom" I get to help the kids open their milk cartons and other packaging, cut apples, peel bananas, give lots of hugs & kisses to Livvy and Katy (who is just a few tables away), and then wipe down the tables and sweep the floor under their table when they're done. It is amazing how much more independent they have all become just since the beginning of school.
