Living on the Edge

We are slowly expanding the kittens' territory in our home as they grow more accustomed to their surroundings. They are successfully using the litter box (yeah!) and know where their food and water are. Today we gave them access to the entire upstairs hallway, half of the stairs down to the main level, and the entire playroom (in addition to the laundry room which is their home base). You'd think two playful little kitties would be busy exploring, right? Nope. They spent their time curled up at the gate--right at the end of their boundary. Funny how we seem to do the same thing--instead of enjoying all the blessings we have, we live on our border admiring everything we don't.
