On the Road, Again.

One of the few down sides to our move to NC is the length of time it takes to get to a visit with family. I know the sentiment is shared by those taking the trip down here. But the kids are generally good travelers and we've gotten the packing down to a science (one suitcase per stop rather than one suitcase per family member). And Kevin and I are both very familiar with all the best spots to stop along I-81 thanks to our college days. Thanks to DVDs (and snacks!), the 8-hour drive really just melts away.
