Opening Night

Lake Norman Sports league hosted an Opening Night celebration for all the baseball and softball teams in the area. Free hotdogs, chips and beverages, and cotton candy for everyone who attended. Plus a live band, moon bounce, and face painting. The teams all assembled on one of the fields for a brief ceremony which included singing of the national anthem and a ceremonial first pitch thrown by some NASCAR driver (no idea who!). And to wrap it up, the coaches formed four teams and played exhibition games to show off their skills. Kevin claims "I've still got it at short." Yup. He does. ;)
