When we first moved to Mooresville, there was a distinct "old" and "new" part of the town. The "old" part is being renovated and rejuvenated and is becoming quite quaint and artsy. The "new" part is being over-developed with more box stores. The convenience of these stores is definitely a plus, but there's not much that's pretty about them. Fortunately there are some interesting little shops stuck in-between and the developers have left a fair number of trees in front so that they aren't quite as obtrusive. One of the girls took this picture again today while driving around running some errands.
