Nana brought a new recipe with her for old-fashioned pound cake. It required sifting the flour three times! She had a special cake pan shaped like a circle of Christmas trees and she sprinkled the finished cake with powdered sugar and red and green sprinkles to make them look like they had been decorated with snow. It was so pretty, and the cake was quite tasty.
