Some of the moms in our neighborhood have started scrapbooking on Thursday nights. Our daughters have all been expressing interest in scrapbooking too. One of the moms was kind enough to host a scrapping party for the girls this afternoon. They were all so excited to pick out pictures and do some cutting and pasting! Marc (our hostess's husband) is an amazing cook and surprised the girls with special cupcakes that he decorated just for them. What a great idea! It makes me so happy when I think of sharing my interests with the girls... rather than only enjoying those sorts of things when they are sleeping.
Considering how much the girls love crafts and photos, this is a wonderful way for them to connect with their moms and each other to create lasting memories. I love it = A terrific idea!
