Steph and the kids were planning to come visit us this weekend, but the status of their visit was a bit up in the air thanks to the massive amounts of snow dumped on their area. However the snow ended up allowing them to come down a day early because schools were cancelled. All the main roads were fine for travel, it was just all the neighborhood roads that were an issue for buses.
Our kids got home from school this afternoon and worked on their homework. Just as they were almost finished, the door from the garage opened and in walked Sam, Cam and Stephie! They were completely surprised and thoroughly excited. And to top it all off, Kevin got home several hours early from his 3-day trip to Houston. It was a banner day for all of us.
