Battens Disease
A friend of mine has two children who have been diagnosed with Battens Disease, a genetic terminal illness. In an effort to help her raise awareness as well as funding for medical research, I have included a link to the Battens website. I'm a wife, and a mom, and a daughter, and a sister, and a friend. I am also a Christian, a political conservative, and a Leo. Guess that makes me pretty opinionated and not afraid to broadcast those opinons! I love to scrapbook and read and cook, and I'm currently participating in "Project 365" - a picture a day for an entire a year - and am sharing those pictures on my blog. It is April 18, evening, and I just viewed these awesome photos of our twin grandaughters and oohed and ahhhh'd and thanked God for them, all the way through...yes, what a blessing they have been for dad and I also, and we each thank you for giving us such blessings...Love, Mom
