The Lake Cup

Our elementary school began a new tradition this year to raise money for local charities. The teachers formed a basketball team (and cheerleading squad!) to compete against another local elementary school for The Lake Cup (and bragging rights). The game was at our high school's gym and the gym was packed with supporters for both schools. We had a great time cheering and were thrilled to walk away as the winning school! Of course, the real winners were the charities being supported by each school (The Dove House which received $2,000 and The Humane Society which received $1,000).
