Battens Disease
A friend of mine has two children who have been diagnosed with Battens Disease, a genetic terminal illness. In an effort to help her raise awareness as well as funding for medical research, I have included a link to the Battens website. Pardon my ignorance, but what is a DS? Mom
A DS is a portable video game system. It's really small, like a leapster, but has a lot more games that you can get for it. The girls have friends with DS's and they want them too. They'll have to wait until Christmas. :)
