Katy is growing out her bangs which requires that they be in clips or barrettes or some type of restraint all the time. Today as we were getting ready for the pool, Steph offered to do a tight, high French braid to contain them for a change. She is an accomplished braider and made it look so nice and neat. If only I could: a) braid as well, and b) keep Katy sitting so still and quiet for the time required to do one! I'm always amazed at how nicely my tender-headed daughters will sit when someone else is brushing and tugging at their hair. They squawk and wiggle the whole time I try to get it fixed.
