Ryan has begun collecting football and baseball cards. He can spend hours just looking at them and learning the stats. It honestly boggles my mind how he remembers all of the various bits of information. Kevin gets a kick out of watching him and going through cards with him. He says he was the same way as a kid. And he has thousands (and I do mean THOUSANDS) of old cards in his closet. Tonight he got down some of his collection for Ryan to see. Ryan was thoroughly impressed by all the Walter Payton and Cal Ripken Jr. cards. It warms my heart to watch them together like this. Kind of gives me a glimpse into who Kevin was as a kid.
