Gymnastics Observation Day

We got to watch one of the girls' gymnastics classes this week for parent observation week. I have a whole new level of respect for how hard they are working each class! They always come bubbling out of the studio and head straight for the water fountain. Usually I am trying to get them home so that we can have a late dinner and get them showered and into bed at a semi-decent time. I will be sure to give them time to drink as much as they want after watching this class. Here is a clip showing them working on their backbends and then working to stand up from their bridge. (Olivia is wearing the pink colored top, and Katy is in the skirted bodysuit that is royal blue on top and black on the bottom).

Oh my gosh. That was so cute. And in an odd way it reminded me of the videos of when they were first learning to walk. So much determination. I need to get Ally in a gymnastics class I think!

I just couldn't believe how well Katy and Livy do in gymnastics; I was watching with my mouth gaping and oohing and ah....ing along with you. How flexible and perservering they are, and obviously seem to love it. I must see them do this....Please tell them how proud I am of them....Love, Mom/Gram
