Mystery Reader

The girls' teachers have a special time each Friday where a parent or grandparent gets to come in and read to the class. The identity of this person is always a surprise until they arrive. I worked it out with their teachers so that Nana & Pappy could be mystery readers this week. Nana read to Olivia's class on Thursday (they had someone else scheduled for Friday), and Pappy read to Katy's class on Friday. It meant as much to them as it did to the children who enjoyed the stories. Pappy had his group in the palm of his hand with visual aids (a pinecone and an acorn) that related to the book he read, "Little Badger's Just About Birthday."
