Our Cold Hot Tub

Kevin discovered a wasp's nest under the cover of our hot tub early this summer when he went to clean it. He decided to just empty it and clean it, but not to refill it until the weather became more hot tubby. Well, we are starting to feel a chill in the air in the evenings as our temps dip into the low 60's. Makes for great sleeping, and is enjoyable for hot tubbing. So he filled it this weekend. The kids were so excited and couldn't wait to get in as soon as it was filled. We warned them that it had been filled with well water and would not be heated yet. They didn't seem to mind one lick (after all our day time temps are still in the mid 80's), and had a ball in our cold, hot tub.
