Reading Logs

First graders are required to maintain a reading log to record what they have read each night. They are supposed to be reading 20 minutes a day. We don't have tons of books that are reading-level appropriate, but fortunately they are allowed to bring home a book from their classroom library each night. We still try to read to them too, but now all three kids are in their rooms having reading time before bed.
